Announcements :

Lion Bill Risen has been awarded the Presidents Certificate.

Flags for 1st Graders Parker Lions visit the public elementary schools.  1st grade classes in Western La Paz County and Parker Dam, CA each year are teaching the children the meaning of the different components of our nations flag. Each child receives a souvenir flag and information sheet. The teachers receive a detailed information sheet and patriotic stickers for the children! We have Sucessfully mad another Christmas For The Troops Possible. We have sent off over 100 boxes, of needed goods to our troops fighting for us daily. This is our second year in making Christmas For The Troops possible, for more information, contact Bill Risen

We have new office postitions that are filled!!! We will be putting them up as they officially take office!!!

Activities :

We are very avtive for our EXTREMLY small community they are:

-$1000 scholarships

-Completed and assisted in the building of the La Paz County Park Horseshoe pits

-Cater a food booth at our local High School football games

-Assist in eyeglass' for the needy

 -Organize White Cane Day once a year 

-Flags for 1st graders (See ANNOUNCMENTS for more info)

-Arrange a carnival twice a year

-Christmas For The Troops (See ANNOUNCMENTS for more information)

-Parker Lions Club made popcorn and cotton candy for the Town Of Parker Christmas Party special Thanks to: Lion Bill, Barbra R., Larry, Cookie, Frank, Paulette, & Jeremy

 -We also try to recruit new and younger members, please contact our Membership Chair.
